Join TLC and shape library spaces that support teen wellness.
Are you passionate about mental health and making a difference in your community? Join the Teen Library Council (TLC) at Deschutes Public Library and help shape how our libraries support teen well-being. This program is for middle- and high-school-aged youth in grades 6-12. Registration is required.
As a TLC member, you'll collaborate with peers to plan and lead one mental health–focused project during the school year. Librarians will support your ideas, but you will drive the vision. Whether you're looking to build leadership skills, earn volunteer hours, or simply connect with others who care about teen mental health, TLC is your space to make an impact.
Meetings: Second Wednesday of each month, 2–3 PM at the Redmond Library
Hybrid Option: Teens across Deschutes County can join virtually
Volunteer Hours: Available with completed volunteer application
