Space is limited and registration is required. This workshop is intended for creators 13+ years of age. **If you have attended a Needle Felt Fungus workshop in the past, please consider letting other community members have the opportunity. Part of the Library's mission is equitable access to services. 

Back by popular demand! Needle felt your way, creating a fungus habitat through this hands-on workshop!

Looking to expand your hobbies and learn needle felting? With a bit of wool and a special needle, this workshop will guide you into creating a beautiful three-dimensional mushroom. It can be used to create ornaments, mini habitat displays, or just for general decoration. This introduction into needle felting is a great way to get your feet wet for hand crafting 3-D creations. No experience is necessary as instruction will be very hands-on. 

Tova Opatrny is the creator behind the YouTube channel Professor Pincushion, making high-quality video tutorials for beginners. Tova's work has appeared in HuffPost, Good Housekeeping, and Cosmopolitan, among others. She's written the book Professor Pincushion's Beginner Guide to Sewing: Garment Making for Nervous Newbies.
