MakerSpace (3rd Floor)Learn about DIY electronic projects from local makers!
This event is open to makers of all ages.
The Bend Arduino Group will host an open-house style showcase in the new MakerSpace, featuring hands-on electronics projects created by local makers. Attendees can walk through the space, explore interactive displays, and talk with group members about how the projects work. Whether you’re curious about microcontrollers, interested in DIY electronics, or looking for a creative new hobby, this is a friendly opportunity to learn and get connected with our local Arduino meetup community. This is a drop-in event so feel free to swing by whenever works best for you between 3:00pm - 5:00pm.
Arduino is based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It allows users to build interactive digital devices, making it a great tool for both beginners and experts in electronics and programming. The core of Arduino is a physical programmable circuit board (microcontroller) and a software environment (IDE) for writing and uploading code to the board.
About the Makers:
The Bend Arduino Group is a community of local makers, tinkerers, and electronics enthusiasts who enjoy learning, experimenting, and building together. The group alternates between hands-on project nights and informal “open mic” sessions, where anyone working on a project can share what they’re building and get help, ideas, or feedback in a supportive environment. Looking ahead, the group plans to take on a larger collaborative project that members can contribute to and learn from as a team. Their mission is to create a welcoming, curiosity-driven space where people of all experience levels can explore microcontrollers, develop new skills, and connect with fellow makers.
