All materials provided—bringing your own photos is welcome but not required! Perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike. About the Instructor:
Kathy Smith is a Creative Memories Advisor from Redmond, Oregon. She believes in creating a 'Legacy of Love' through the art of scrapbooking and card making. Whether traditional or digital, preserving memories and crafting heartfelt messages has always been my passion and remains dear to my heart. Her love of crafting began when she was just a young girl. At age 10, Kathy asked her mother for a book called Crafts for Kids—a treasure she still has today! Her early memory keeping consisted of placing photos in paper scrapbooks and storing mementos in her hope chest. Revisiting these collections still brings her memories to life and puts a smile on her face.
Originally from Minnesota, Kathy retired from nursing in 2021 before moving to Oregon. Her three children are spread throughout the U.S. (North Dakota, Georgia, and New York), and she is the proud grandmother of three adorable kids. Kathy and her husband love to travel and are certainly enjoying Oregon's milder winters!
Kathy started scrapbooking with Creative Memories products in the early 1990s when her children were young. She wanted to capture every moment and never let it go! This is when Kathy became passionate about documenting 'My Story' and helping others preserve theirs.
Kathy is thrilled to create, connect, and celebrate with fellow memory-keepers and card crafters in our creative community. Her goal is to help you get those photos from your phones (previously shoe boxes and plastic bins) into albums, creating a 'Legacy of Love' for you and your family with Creative Memories!
