Using an AI planning tool, you'll establish your personal goals and work through key considerations like time, cost, and setup needs. You’ll walk away with a personalized goat-keeping plan to guide you!

- Not all goats are created equal! Whether you’re looking for milk, fiber, meat, or a pet, we’ll help you define your purpose and choose the right breed to match.

- Feeding, health, breeding, and long-term commitment—get the basics on what it takes to keep your herd happy and healthy.

- Using a custom AI planning tool, you’ll assess your readiness, map out key requirements (time, cost, infrastructure), and leave with a personalized goat-keeping plan in hand.

Presenter Bio:
Steve Curley grew up around his grandparent’s dairy farm in Northern Pennsylvania and has always appreciated the rural lifestyle with all the benefits of farming. As he and his wife Jennifer began raising their family, they were able to move to the country with their own small farm. The Curley family has been raising Nigerian Dairy goats for over ten years on five acres south of Redmond that also sometimes includes hogs, steers, rabbits and chickens.

School of Ranch is a Central Oregon-based 501c3 nonprofit. They hire skilled community members to teach practical and artisan skills. Their mission is to educate, support local entrepreneurs, and provide common ground for people regardless of politics, age, background or beliefs.
