Community 3Celebrate this seasonal turning point through rest, reflection, and renewal.
Join Kevin Kraft of Soundshala on December 21st at Redmond Library for a special Solstice Soundbath, a restorative experience honoring the stillness, reflection, and renewal of the winter solstice. Please bring a yoga mat, light blanket and eye cover for maximum comfort.
As the longest night of the year invites us to slow down and turn inward, this immersive sound journey offers an opportunity to pause from the busyness of everyday life, reconnect with yourself, and welcome the returning light. Through the soothing vibrations and resonant tones of therapeutic sound instruments like gongs, singing bowls, flutes and drums, participants are invited to settle into a state of deep relaxation, allowing the mind to quiet, the body to soften, and the spirit to find balance.
Whether you are seeking a moment of peace, a space for meditation, or simply an opportunity to rest and recharge, this soundbath provides a welcoming environment to nurture your well-being. No prior experience with sound healing or meditation is necessary—just bring your curiosity and an openness to receive.
The winter solstice reminds us that even in the darkest moments, light is always returning. Let the sounds guide you into stillness, create space for intention, and support a gentle transition into the new season.
Come experience the transformative power of sound with Kevin Kraft of Soundshala and celebrate this seasonal turning point through rest, reflection, and renewal.
