About the Presenter:
Joe Wilkins is the author of two novels, The Entire Sky and Fall Back Down When I Die; a memoir, The Mountain and the Fathers; and five collections of poetry, including Pastoral, 1994 and When We Were Birds. His latest book is Every Sky at Home: Essays on Landscape and Family. A finalist for the First Novel Prize from the Center For Fiction, the Mark Twain American Voice in Literature Award, the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Award, and the Orion Book Award, Wilkins has won the Oregon Book Award, the Montana Book Award, the GLCA New Writers Award, a Pushcart Prize, and four High Plains Book Awards. Born and raised north of the Bull Mountains in Eastern Montana, he now lives with his family in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range.

The drive-thru is open daily from 10 am - 6 pm.
The Central Library has a varied collection of English and Spanish language materials and hosts a variety of events and programs for all ages. Meeting and study rooms are available on every floor; a dynamic children’s discovery space is on the second floor; and a hands-on MakerSpace and dedicated co-working area are located on the third floor. You’ll also find free and fast WiFi and diverse public art throughout the building, as well as a Thump Coffee café in the lobby.
