Tip your hat and learn how to sew a vintage-style newsboy cap! This fashion accessory is a great introduction into making hats and a great way to recycle flannel. Must have some sewing and sewing machine experience, but is still beginner-friendly. Perfect for fashion and for costumes. Please note this workshop is two sessions long.
Attendees will need to either bring a large flannel shirt to upcycle (or a half yard of flannel type fabric), a half yard of lightweight cotton fabric for lining, and matching all-purpose thread. A sewing machine, tools, and pattern will be provided.
