Free succulents for children and teens!
It's free succulent time! Deschutes Public Library is partnering with Neighborhood Forest to get free succulents into children's homes.
Parents/guardians must sign up by October 28th to get their free succulent. The plants are set to arrive in mid-November, and we will be in contact with all who register when they show up. Each family will get to pot up their new plant and learn basic care tips.
Please fill out the online registration form by October 28th to receive a free succulent from Neighborhood Forest. This project looks to foster joy, beauty, goodness and inclusivity, especially to those families who do not have a yard for outdoor planting. Indoor plants provide many benefits, including purifying the air, improving health and well-being, enhancing concentration/focus, and more!
Pick up days will be November 19th (Meyer Classroom, upstairs), 25th, and 26th at the Downtown Bend Library.
