About the Presenter:

Maria Thibodeau was born in Argentina and raised in Peru. Her parents were Hungarian refugees. She was almost 12 when she arrived in California speaking no English. Maria became a bilingual teacher. For almost the past 60 years she has taught people of all ages in places in Texas, Saudi Arabia, and now Bend. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing the “Ahh” moment on the faces of her students.  She always looked for more things to bring an “Ahh” moment to them, like this Walk in our Solar System.
