See the best of Central Oregon in five beautiful hikes! Travel writer Matt Wastradowski, co-author of Moon Pacific Northwest Hiking for Moon Travel Guides, will share his favorite trails that show off Central Oregon's diverse landscapes. He'll take you through the rugged high desert, otherworldly lava flows, mountain forests, and more—along with insider tips for making the most of your time outdoors.

Presenter Bio: 

For more than a decade, Matt Wastradowski has written extensively and excitedly about the Pacific Northwest's best craft beer, natural beauty, fascinating history, dynamic culinary scene, and outdoor attractions. In that time, his stories have appeared in the likes of Portland Monthly, Northwest Travel & Life, Outside, and the REI Co-op Journal. Since 2018, he's also authored three Oregon-centric guidebooks for Moon Travel Guides—the most recent being a wide-ranging guidebook covering the best hikes in Oregon.
