An interactive STEM story time adventure!
This program is best suited for ages 6-9, but open to all. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
Join Oregon author Amy Seto Forrester for an interactive session all about her exciting, ocean-themed, choose-your-path STEM adventure for emerging readers: Search for a Giant Squid. After story time, kids and families are invited to create their very own pick-your-path story with Amy.
Amy Seto Forrester is a children's author passionate about diverse, engaging books for developing readers. Her books draw on her decade of experience as a children's librarian at Eugene Public Library (OR) and Denver Public Library (CO), as well as her background in the performing arts. She has been a lifelong fan of puzzles, mazes, and other forms of interactive learning. She writes books with her author-illustrator brother, Andy Chou Musser (Ploof, A Home Under the Stars). Search for a Giant Squid is the first book in the Science Explorers series. Look for the next title in the series, which will follow scientists looking for a tiny mushroom in three national parks around the world.
