Re-entry strategies for families of incarcerated individuals approaching release. This is an in-person program. Join us for a Q&A session for family members who want to best prepare for the upcoming release of a loved one. Frank Patka, founder of Changing Patterns Inc., and the author of The Returning Citizen's Survival Guide will share what helped him successfully return to the community after serving almost 6 years in prison. His experience has been used to design a Peer Support Re-entry Program where returning citizens learn how to make a personal commitment to a healthy achievement, manage habits, establish a routine, and build a healthy support system. This event will provide people helpful tips to prepare for their loved ones' re-entry.
