Calling all those who like to quilt, craft, or sew while Queer! This is a safe, welcoming, and super fun way to explore new quilting, sewing, or crafting techniques. Community Librarian Betsey will be on hand to share projects from the Creativebug Program (free and available with your library card!) and to share other quilting and sewing techniques, or bring your own projects to work on while meeting new friends and connecting with other Queer quilters and crafters. Limited supplies and notions will be available to sew and craft with each week, and feel free to bring your personal hand-stitching supplies. Due to the space and noise considerations, please leave your sewing machines at home and bring handwork only.
This program is designed to be a drop-in program for any experience level for 2SLGTBQIA+ people and allies. Projects and supplies will be on hand; however, this program has an open and flexible structure. Let's create an awesome Queer Craft Club together!

About the branch
The drive-thru is open daily from 10 am - 6 pm.
The Central Library has a varied collection of English and Spanish language materials and hosts a variety of events and programs for all ages. Meeting and study rooms are available on every floor; a dynamic children’s discovery space is on the second floor; and a hands-on MakerSpace and dedicated co-working area are located on the third floor. You’ll also find free and fast WiFi and diverse public art throughout the building, as well as a Thump Coffee café in the lobby.
