Embroidery is one of the oldest ways to embellish fabric and a fantastic way to add a unique personal touch to your clothes. Wanting to try your skills at hand embroidery but aren't sure how to get started? Bring a beanie from home (light-colored is recommended) and you'll learn the basics of hand embroidery as a fun, new hobby. No previous experience is necessary.
Tova Opatrny is the creator behind the YouTube channel Professor Pincushion, making high-quality video tutorials for beginners. Tova’s work has appeared in HuffPost, Good Housekeeping, and Cosmopolitan, among others. She's also written the book Professor Pincushion's Beginner Guide to Sewing: Garment Making for Nervous Newbies.
