About the Presenter:
Aaron Rasheed is a local journalist and veteran. He served in the Marine Corps infantry for 12 years. After the military, he moved to Bend, OR, and reinvented himself as a writer, majoring in English literature/journalism at Central Oregon Community College and OSU-Cascades.
Aaron has worked for several news outlets, including The Broadside Newspaper, Bend Bulletin, Go Magazine, Bend Magazine, Visit Bend, and The Library of Congress Veteran History Project. He also has a Journalism Podcast called "Journalistika," which will be released on August 5th, 2025, on Spotify and Apple Podcast.
