Join us for a quiet, cozy, hygge afternoon in the library!
Grab a family member and join us for a hygge (pronounced hoo-gah) afternoon at the library! Hygge is the Danish practice of coziness and warmth and is perfect for the long, cold February nights. We will have board games, books, coloring, puzzles, hot chocolate, and of course, a cozy atmosphere. This is a multi-generational event so bring your grandparents, your aunt, or even your second cousin to bond and be hygge together.
If you are a caretaker for a neurodivergent child or adult and attending in-person programming is difficult or causes discomfort, please reach out to Erin at erinh@deschuteslibrary.org to request a take-home kit with instructions and materials. We will have a limited number of kits for neurodivergent people.
Questions? Contact Community Librarian, Erin Heyl at erinh@deschuteslibrary.org or 541-617-7079.
