Understanding and managing menopause with scientific, evidence-based information.
Menopause is a transition most women will live through yet many cannot define it! Our goal in this discussion is to provide scientific, evidence-based information about menopause as well as how we as women can safely manage the ways it impacts our quality of life! We may have to life through menopause but we do not have to "just live" with menopause.
Presenter Bios:
Dr. Erin LeGrand received her undergraduate degree and medical degree from Michigan State University. She completed her residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. LeGrand enjoys all aspects of obstetric and gynecology care, including high risk pregnancies and robotic surgery.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, puzzles and spending time with her family.
Dr. Sarah Hellmann is an obstetrician/gynecologist who enjoys the diversity of working with women in all stages of life and varying backgrounds. She provides a full spectrum of services ranging from pregnancy management to preventive care to pelvic surgery. She truly enjoys taking the time to listen to her patients as well as educate them regarding their bodies and health.
Dr. Hellmann joined St. Charles Medical Group because she values the relationships and sense of community that comes with working in a smaller town. She loves spending time outdoors with her two sons and two dogs. Sarah has served on medical missions to both India and Africa, allowing her to combine her love of travel with her passion to provide medical care to the underserved.
