Understanding harm, building healing through restorative justice.
Come learn about the principles and history of restorative justice. Stand-in RJ will be sharing some principles of restorative justice dialogues and how they can bring parties together to address harms.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Oregon State University, Emily B. earned a master’s degree in Restorative Justice at Vermont Law and Graduate School. She has been a Restorative Justice Practitioner in Central Oregon for the past 4 years. She is also currently serving on the Restorative Justice Coalition of Oregon Executive Committee as the treasurer and is a credentialed trainer in Restorative Justice Practices as well as Facilitation. She has a particular passion for including often-forgotten-about individuals in restorative justice practices and founded Stand-in Restorative Justice with that mission in mind.
