Sensory development and early literacy skills through games and play!
Developing sensory skills in children 0-5 years old gives them the building blocks for emotion regulation, stress tolerance, and healthy social relationships.
The B.U.R.S.T. program includes group activities, as well as a variety of purposeful and FUN activities to be explored at your child's own pace and development level. During these sessions families will learn skills and tools for supporting early literacy as well as sensory development, and kids will have a blast playing with a variety of toys, instruments, crafts, and more!
You do not need to register to attend. Please plan on staying with your child during the entire event.
This program is designed for 3–5-year-olds, however, anyone of any age that would benefit or enjoy these types of activities is welcome! A number of accessibility supports are available. Inclusivity is important and matters. To support people of all abilities, backgrounds, and identities we have available sensory fidgets, translation possibilities, and more. If there is an item or service that would make participating in B.U.R.S.T. more accessible for you or your child, please let us know!
