A multi-cultural celebration of culture, resilience, and inclusive community-building.
This a collaborative effort for The City of Bend’s Welcoming Week, powered by The Father’s Group, Vámonos Outside, Asian and Pacific Islanders Collective, Africans Building Community, and more local partners. Inspired by the values of Welcoming America, we’re dedicated to creating a vibrant, safer, and welcoming space where communities come together to share traditions, build connections, and foster belonging. This year’s event features local food vendors, music and entertainment, cultural performances, hands-on learning of cultural activities and educational stations to encourage cultural exchange and understanding. These presenting organizations are changing the narrative through Welcoming Week; centering joy, visibility, and authentic connection for less visible communities.
