Paint an itsy-bitsy pumpkin, and more.
Relax and enjoy a bit of spine-tingling fun while decorating a mini-pumpkin. Additional craft supplies will be provided, and children will have an opportunity to explore process art and fall themed product art at various stations. This hour-long program will allow your child to connect abstract ideas with concrete experiences, stimulating their brains which helps strengthen neural pathways. Hands-on arts and craft activities promote the development of fine and gross motor skills, and can help with emotional regulation. Not all paint is washable so wear suitable clothing. Mini-pumpkins, and supplies limited. Registration required.
This program is designed for children 3-11 years old, but younger siblings are welcome. Please, register each child by name. Adults need not register.
If your child is neurodivergent or disabled, and attending in-person programming is difficult or causes discomfort, please reach out, to the Community Librarian listed below, to request an alternative, take-home kit with craft materials and instructions. We will have a limited number of kits for neurodivergent and disabled folks.
