Hear spooky cemetery stories and folklore from New Orleans to Edinburgh.
This is an online program. Registration is required. This event will not be recorded.
Folklore has always grown up around graveyards. From New Orleans to Edinburgh, ghost stories especially seem to settle among the monuments. Hear some of the wildest cemetery stories: how they’ve grown and changed over the years and whether they have any basis in truth. Leave the lights on and remember not to whistle past the graveyard!
Loren Rhoads is the author of 222 Cemeteries to See Before You Die and Still Wish You Were Here: More Adventures in Cemetery Travel. Loren has talked about cemeteries with NPR, Frommer's Travel podcast, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the New York Times, Travel & Leisure, and The Ordinary, Extraordinary Cemetery podcast, and many others.
