Learn how to approach different kinds of mending.
Space is limited and registration is required. This workshop is designed for customers 16+ years of age. Participants are encouraged to bring their own, working, sewing machine to the class. A limited number of sewing machines are available for those that do not have their own.
This two-hour machine mending workshop is for sewists of all levels. During the workshop participants will learn how to approach repair needs and different kinds of machine mending for jeans, shirts, etc.
About the Instructor:
Madie is a nomadic seamstress from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She makes upcycled clothing and teaches sewing classes through her online community, on Instagram, and in person. Madie graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in environmental studies and sustainability and found her love for upcycling during her time there.
