A film and discussion regarding healthy screen habits for families.
Registration is required. This event is suggested for educators, caregivers, parents, and children 9 and over.
Well Wired, a healthy tech advocacy group and family community in Central Oregon, will be hosting a viewing of the film Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition. The film addresses issues that elementary school kids, parents, and educators are facing (i.e., smartwatches in class, unhooking from and monitoring video gaming, social media pressures, etc.), with many solutions to such challenges. Following the film, an expert panel of local mental health care providers and safe screen time advocates with Well Wired will facilitate discussion and answer audience questions.
