Registration is required.
In this workshop, writers of all ages and confidence levels are welcome to join Mr. Friday as he uses the inspiring magic of spring to create a brand new poem. Participants can help Mr. Friday create a shared poem or use the skills he teaches to write their own during the workshop. Together, we will use poetry to celebrate the magic of spring as it blossoms here in Bend.
Workshop Takeaways:
- Use the senses to describe spring - what we see, feel, hear, touch.
- Learn poetic devices and techniques.
- See how a working poet uses ideas and language - in real time.
- Learn how to present the poem to an audience. (Sharing is optional)
- Most importantly - enjoy poetry writing.
