Locally grown sing-alongs and banjo grooves for all ages! This is an in-person program. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Join local songwriter Ian Carrick for an upbeat, heartfelt performance to deepen our appreciation of this place, our ancestors, one another, and ourselves. With rhythmic refrains, toe-tapping banjo grooves, and a lively Celtic spirit, this will be a celebratory community-building event. Ian hopes listeners big and small walk away with refreshed minds, open hearts and songs in their pockets. Ian Carrick is a Bend-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and K-8 music teacher dedicated to catalyzing cultural healing through music. His newest project, "Earthlings," released June 2023, is a body of interactive family-oriented songs intended to deepen relationships between head and heart, within communities, and with the earth. Ian's authentic, expressive style allows his songs to become something listeners can belong to, to carry home, sing, and make their own. Curious?
