Design and create your own leather bookmark!
Elise Michaels will show participants how to make a fun & unique bookmarks using leather! She will demonstrate how to design it, use the tools & hardware needed, and put it together. There are so many options available: you can paint it, stamp it, layer colors, and more. We will have enough time for participants to be able to make one or two bookmarks. They make great gifts!
Many folks know Elise from her 30 years on Central Oregon radio and TV. By day, she is a web designer and builder, but in her spare time she runs Bench Studio in Bend. The studio gives creatives and DIYers a chance to come out and make leather projects - from leather bags and bookmarks, to earrings and coin purses.
