Curious about spinning and weaving? Come learn more from Central Oregon Spinners & Weavers guild.
The Central Oregon Spinners & Weavers Rigid Heddle Study Group will provide a demonstration on how to weave on a rigid heddle loom and talk about the joys of weaving. Cardboard "looms" will be available for children and adults to try their hand at weaving a small bookmark or create a circular weave.
Central Oregon Spinners & Weavers Guild fosters the arts of weaving and spinning to stimulate further interest in the crafts for those already engaged in them and to stimulate interest in the crafts for others. Members have created study groups for Spinning, Weaving, Rigid Heddle, Knitting/social, Independent Study, and Tatting.
The Guild endeavors to educate the public through displays, hands-on demonstrations, gallery exhibits, sales, and hosting presentations and workshops.
