Make train-inspired paintings for the Downtown Bend Library display!
Supplies are limited. Registration is required. This program is open to all ages, and all children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
This year, Deschutes Public Library is thrilled to host Michael Lavrich (“The Train Man”) and his incredible train collection. This will be the twenty-first year that Michael has brought his trains to the Library. Celebrate this time-honored tradition by creating a train-inspired tiny painting (6”x6” canvas) to be shown in the Downtown Bend Library display case during the month of December. Join local artist Anastasia Zielinski as she walks us through the steps of creating our paintings. Paintings will be put up for display after drying, and participants will be able to pick up their art pieces in early January.
