With the help of Edgar Allan Poe and Emily Dickinson (to name a few), this workshop will be diving into the world of Victorian poets to unite the modern-day writer with the macabre. Utilizing fresh writing techniques, while finding inspiration from the classic works of gothic-genius past, experienced and amateur poets will walk through multiple exercises to sharpen their craft.
Ali Noël is a poet and fiction writer originally hailing from Bend, Oregon. Her work has been featured in Calla Press Literary Journal, Wow! Women on Writing and Twenty Hills Publishing to name a few. Ali is currently the poetry intern and editor for an indie publishing house and working on her first novel.
