Presenter Biographies:

Geoff Babb is a two-time stroke survivor with a passion to make wild places accessible to those with mobility challenges. After his first stroke in 2005 he set out to build a wheelchair to allow him access to nature, his happy place. This journey led to the creation of The Onward Project and AdvenChair (advenchair.com), an all-terrain wheelchair convertible to indoor use.

Director Marcia Volk's passion for storytelling started with a childhood love of film and writing, then on to journalism and film school in college, adding a business degree that gave her the edge to get into Hollywood commercial film production. After honing her skills with the art of telling a story in 30 seconds, she went on to manage the production of other stories, from long-format videos to online media as the business of interactive communication grew. She is now a partner and creates content for SmithRock.com, an independent online guide for 900,000+ adventurers each year to Smith Rock State Park in Oregon.
