Set your summertime intentions through movement, community, and creation.
Registration required.
At this workshop, we’ll cultivate a space that honors the solstice—the turning point where light and dark meet in perfect balance. Through candle-making, gentle yoga, and shared reflection, we’ll explore the deeper rhythms of nature and the subtle shifts within ourselves.
You’ll have 6 scents to choose from to craft your candle: made from all-natural soy wax and recycled wine bottles, your candle will be a reflection of who you are at that moment and what you’d like to bring into your life moving forward into the summer season.
What to bring: A yoga mat, comfortable clothes, and an open heart. All materials provided.
Kaija Marshall is a yoga instructor, birth & postpartum doula and holistic workshop facilitator. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University in 2015, her 200 RYS Yoga Instructor certificate in 2016 and her Birth Doula & Postpartum Doula training in 2019. She currently serves growing families as a doula all over Bend. Before moving into the perinatal sphere, she worked at Girl Scouts San Diego as an Evaluation Specialist, Camp Counselor & Outreach Program Leader, all while moonlighting as a nanny for families in San Diego county. She firmly believes in the purpose of play, and seeks to encourage mind, body & soul connections through movement, productive dialogue and authentic connection. She believes that data synthesis and gut feelings both have a place in decision making-- this is also reflected in her background: a unique mix of higher education & holistic training-- and this foundation allows her to help folks bridge the gap between institutional & instinctual knowledge to a place of understanding.
