PLEASE NOTE: This talk has moved venues and will be held at the Sisters Library.

This educational seminar introduces the foundations of wild food foraging and everyday self-sufficiency, with a focus on local plants, seasonal awareness, and practical skills that support resilience and independence. Drawing on an abundance-based approach, the talk encourages participants to reconnect with the land, build confidence in food knowledge, and explore how wild foods have supported communities for generations.

About the Presenter:

Sharon Trammell is the owner of Forage and Thrive, a brand created to spotlight wild food knowledge and promote sustainable living. She is the author of Eat off the Land, a foraging and wild food cookbook.
