Gain insights into how we can (and cannot) responsibly use AI.
For better or worse, artificial intelligence has infiltrated our everyday life. This session is designed specifically for the AI-curious to move past the headlines of both amazement and doom to gain insights into how we can (and cannot) responsibly use AI in our lives. We will discuss the different forms and providers of AI, such as ChatGPT, Siri, and Sora, but also the AI tools that your doctors, lawyers, accountants, and other professionals might be using. We will talk about how to responsibly use these tools and to help others in your life learn how to use them. You will walk away with a clear and jargon-free understanding of what AI can and cannot be used for, how to protect your privacy and security while using AI, and how to spot when others are using AI to deceive or misinform.
