Understand the project supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilites.
Deschutes County is developing a residential property in SW Redmond to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We want neighbors to understand the project we’re working on and how it will help to better support family members within our community. Deschutes County will be hosting a community forum with IDD Program Manager, Paul Partridge, and project coordinators to provide more information on the program as well as answer any questions our neighbors may have.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Paul Partridge is the Program Manager at the Deschutes County Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Program. He graduated from Western Oregon State College with a Bachelor degree in Music, minoring in Communications. Paul has served three different County IDD programs in Oregon over the past 25 years, most of that time in a leadership role. Other than managing an IDD program, he has supervised an IDD crisis program, investigated abuse, provided IDD case management services and for several years before entering a County program; he provided direct employment supports to adults with IDD in the Willamette valley.
