Join this educational support group that will provide valuable resources for caregivers, individuals with dementia/Alzheimer's, and their loved ones. This group offers a supportive environment where participants can learn about the disease, share experiences, and receive practical advice.
- Shared Experiences: Members can share their personal experiences, challenges, and successes with others who truly understand.
- Emotional Support: The group provides a supportive environment where members can express their feelings, concerns, and fears without judgment.
- Practical Advice: Members often share practical tips and strategies for managing the challenges of dementia and Alzheimer's.
- Education and Information: Support groups may discuss the latest research, treatment options, and coping mechanisms.
- Social Connection: These groups offer opportunities to connect with others in similar situations, reducing feelings of isolation.
Dr. Sarah Dawson and Noelle Bruno are dedicated healthcare professionals who have worked with individuals living with dementia in various settings, including outpatient care, hospitals, in-home care, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home health. Because of their experience, they have developed a deep understanding about the complexities of dementia, including its various forms, progression, and impact on individuals and their families.
