Wednesday, July 29
1:30pm - 2:30pm
La Pine Library
Community RoomA Day in Colonial Life & the Revolutionary War
Read Rebecca Rides for Freedom: An American Revolution Survival Story by Emma Carlson Berne, and step back in time to explore what life was like for kids in early America—and what changed when the colonies fought for independence! In this interactive library program, elementary students will discover daily colonial life and be introduced to the exciting events of the American Revolutionary War through stories, activities, and imaginative play.
The creation of this country took all of US. We celebrate, support, and uplift every member of our community who enjoys the freedoms outlined by the Declaration on Independence and lives in a world working towards a more perfect union for all of US.
