Space is limited and registration is required. This workshop is intended for participants 13+ years of age.
Your new craft hobby is here! Needle felting is the technique of taking wool fibers and matting them together with a special needle to create hand-crafted designs. This workshop teaches you the art of 2D needle felting in order to create a beautiful mini landscape inspired by the book cover of the Novel Idea book selection.
Tova Opatrny is the creator behind the YouTube channel Professor Pincushion, making high-quality video tutorials for beginners. Tova's work has appeared in HuffPost, Good Housekeeping, and Cosmopolitan, among others. She's written the book Professor Pincushion's Beginner Guide to Sewing: Garment Making for Nervous Newbies.

About the Author:
Thomas Kohnstamm was born and raised in Seattle. He still lives in the same house he grew up in—now with his wife and two children. A freelance writer for over twenty years, he’s been a Spanish & Portuguese translator, travel writer, video & animation producer and has covered subjects ranging from rainforest conservation to quantum computing to backcountry skiing. Supersonic is his third book.
