Human Library with a Civics Twist: Bridging Stories, Systems, and Civic Engagement
Experience a Human Library like never before, now integrated with CivicsLab’s mission of building relationships with public officials. This unique session invites participants to engage in interactive conversations with “human books” who share lived experiences of navigating systems, civic engagement, and transformative justice. Through these personal stories, participants gain new perspectives on justice, equity, and belonging.

Designed to spark empathy, challenge assumptions, and inspire civic action, this Human Library session continues the CivicsLab journey of fostering authentic relationships and dialogue in Central Oregon. Using the Human Library learning model, we create space for genuine conversation, encouraging participants to engage deeply and meaningfully.
