Join local song leader Ian Carrick for the anciently familiar practice of singing together - for aliveness amidst despair, for beauty amidst grief, for joy within the cracks in our hearts.
Song leader, Ian Carrick, (white, able-bodied, cis-man) strives to "create a welcoming space for everyone regardless of ethnicity, abilities, gender, race, immigration status, class background, politics, or age and is always willing to admit he has room to grow." After a decade of searching for accessible forms of community-based music and recovering his own voice, Ian founded Open Hub Singing in 2016 as part of discovering a widespread North American cultural revival of aural tradition singing.
