Space is limited and registration is required. This workshop is designed for customers 16+ years of age. All materials provided.
Workshop attendees will learn basic hand embroidery stitches and techniques, sewing special designs to make ready-to-wear clothes more unique. This is also a great way to cover flaws or previous repairs.No previous sewing experience is needed. Attendees are asked to bring one garment from home that they would love to spruce up.
About the Instructor:
Tova Opatrny is the creator behind the YouTube channel Professor Pincushion, making high-quality video tutorials for beginners. Tova’s work has appeared in HuffPost, Good Housekeeping, and Cosmopolitan, among others. She's also written the book Professor Pincushion's Beginner Guide to Sewing: Garment Making for Nervous Newbies.
