Improve sentence-level editing skills across all writing genres.
This is an online program. Registration is required.
This class is designed for writers of all genres who want to learn to edit their writing on a sentence level. We’ll start by discussing how to approach your work from the viewpoint of an editor, rather than a writer, then move into basic tenets and ways to examine sentences individually, as well as the work they're doing in a paragraph. Students are invited to submit an excerpt in advance and will have an opportunity to put these teachings into practice when we edit as a group.
