No need to pinch yourself - pinch a pot!
Registration Required. This event is intended for creators 14+ years old.
Come play with clay and discover the potential of pinch pots! Participants will learn this classic method of pinching and shaping clay to make a variety of forms. Pinch pots can be used for teacups, ring dishes, planters, salt dishes, and more! Participants will make pieces and choose how they want them glazed. Pieces will be available for pickup after firing at Camp Clay pottery studio.

Ira is the founder of Cedar & Seaweed. They started making pottery at the end of 2019 and have always been drawn to handbuilding and sculpture. They love nature and exploring the outdoors and translate their love of nature into their work. They love seeing what other people think of and create and they want to help people build skills to express their creativity.
Camp Clay is a safe, equitable, community-based contemporary art space. Largely designed around cone 6 oxidation ceramic processes, camp offers member space, classes, workshops, and firing services for ceramic enthusiasts of all levels. Located in the heart of Bend, our studio provides a clean, safe, and spacious creative space where individuals can explore their passion for pottery in a supportive and inspiring environment
