Discuss Homebody by Theo Parish
Join us on the first Thursday of each month for this queer-centered, online book club for 2SLGBTQIA+ teens and allies across Deschutes County. We read YA and Adult books that center 2SLGBTQIA+ stories and voices, but encourage anyone interested in exploring these books to join us.
Meet on Zoom from 4:30?5:30pm to talk about the month?s read, share thoughts, and spend time building community with other teens. There?s always space for both book discussion and low-pressure socializing.
This event is intended for youth ages 15-19 and content in the books discussed will be targeted toward this age group. Please respect the age guidelines of this program in order to great a welcoming space for all participants.
Physical copies of each month?s book can be picked up from any Deschutes County library with advance notice. No checkout required ? simply return the book when you?re done. Registration recommended to distribute books to the appropriate library and to receive Zoom link. If you would like to participate and do not feel comfortable with registration, please reach out to Meagan via the contact information below.
